The awesomely named “East Side Glory” is a song of frayed nerves and indecision, but not the quiet, anxious kind. It’s more of the loud and manic variety. After all, Marnie Stern is “the lady who shreds,” according to Kill Rock Stars, and this track certainly lives up to that title. This is the second single betrothed to the also well-named Chronicles of Marnia, and we’ll have “East Side Glory” and “Year of the Glad” on repeat until it drops on March 19.
