Here is a sort-of-new song from Melody’s Echo Chamber, the recording project of one Melody Prochet. “Je Me Perds De Vue” (French for “I Lost My View” – I think) was the demo for an instrumental track on her 2012 self-titled record called “IsThatWhatYouSaid.” This is the original version Prochet recorded before deciding to settle on the instrumental one. Not only is it always cool to hear where the finished versions of songs come from, but we relish another opportunity to hear Prochet’s dreamy psych-pop songwriting and gorgeous pipes. Check it out.
