Check Out: SZA – “ICE.MOON”

SZA may be named like she’s a part of Wu-Tang, but her sounds are much closer those of Purity Ring. The St. Louis “alternative R&B” artist bears resemblance to the afore-mentioned electro-pop act in its lush but heavy production, yet her vocals come across in a clearer, more tangible fashion. Check “ICE.MOON” out below.

She released an EP last year, See.SZA.Run, that we somehow slept on, but this track come from her forthcoming EP, which should be released sometime in the regenerative season known as spring.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
