It might seem to you that producer extraordinaire Danger Mouse and Italian composer Daniele Luppi’s Rome project also consists of Jack White in its entirety, but unfortunately this is the last from the record that will feature White’s signature vocals.
After hearing “Two Against One” and lovely ballad “The Rose With The Broken Night,” we now have access to the final White assisted track from the Spaghetti Western inspired project, a pensive, dreamy number called “The World.”
Like the others, White’s vocals sound lovely over a backdrop not customary to his usual musical leanings, whether White Stripes, Raconteurs or Dead Weather. Check out “The World” below; Rome is out May 17th via Capitol.
