Last night, “Living In America” synth-rockers DOM took to their Soundcloud page and put up two new tracks that didn’t make it onto either of their EPs, “Things Change” and “Crazy Girl”.
On the sub-three minute, aptly titled “Things Change”, DOM have replaced snyths with rollicking surf guitar licks that puts them somewhere between the newest from Wavves and The Drums.
Surprisingly, the two new songs steer away from the fuzzy synth sound that put DOM on the map in the first place. “Crazy Girl” is a brief Ariel Pink-esque jam session and absolutely thrives on stage. This studio recording is plenty of fun. Listen to both tracks below:
