Ever since Wu Tang alum Ghostface Killah appeared on underground rhyme slinger MF DOOM’s Born Like This, there have been rumors floating around about a collaboration between the two rappers. Luckily for us, the rumors were true.
DoomStarks is their new project, and we’ve just received our first taste of it courtesy of their label Nature Sound, who provided a handful of loyal fans with a special edition cassette of a Madvillainz remixed edition of a new song called “Victory Laps.” The track is dripping with everything you’d expect from a Ghostface and Doom collab: swag (and plenty of it), a filthy, underground beat, and some mean lyrical content. The song just premiered on Hot 97, and there’s a radio rip for your listening pleasure below. The unremixed “Victory Laps” drops July 26th on iTunes, August 30th in its physical form via Nature Sound.
