El-P has been a revered rapper for years in some circles, but El-P, the producer, has been getting a lot of shine this year, what with single-handedly producing two of the year’s best rap albums, his own Cancer 4 Cure, of course, as well as Killer Mike’s career defining R.A.P. Music. Now on October 23rd, El-P’s work as a producer will be celebrated further with Fat Possum’s release of the instrumental version of Cancer 4 Cure. Check out a track from the release below, the instrumental version of one of Cancer‘s hardest tracks, “Tougher, Colder, Killer.”
