“Eyes Like Sky” is a cut from the Channel Orange sessions (according to Rap Up) that got left on the metaphoric floor, but someone picked it up over the weekend and put it on the internet. Now you’re reading about it, casually debating whether or not to listen. Or already listening to it as you read this, trying to decide if you think it should have been left off Channel Orange. Who is to say? Perhaps it’s a bit plain, not quite as evocative as the likes of “Pyramids,” or maybe it’s completely unfair to pass judgement on any song after two listens. Maybe it’s that acoustic guitar.
