Some can argue that once you’ve heard a Beach House song, you’ve heard them all. It’s true; the duo have only marginally switched up their style since their 2006 debut, but not for a lack of creativity. Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand’s considerable creative force has always been focussed on polishing and perfecting their art, not so much expanding its borders. With Bloom, four albums in, they’ve done just that (again), and the result is fuller, more vibrant, more spellbinding than the last. (Again.)
