Imagine David Bowie fronting Real Estate and then you’ve got something pretty close to Turtle Giant. The Macau, China by way of São Paulo, Brazil band (how’s that for a geographic pedigree?) quickly won our hearts and minds with this wistful, summery track, which you can stream below.

“Orange Grape” is from their forthcoming full length, which, so far as we know, has no title and will be released sometime in this calendar year. Be sure to check out the excellent video for “We Were Kids,” from their All Hidden Places EP, which came out last year.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
