We already featured Iron & Wine’s cover of George Michael’s “One More Try,” the a-side on their new release for Suicide Squeeze’s singles series, Two Sides of George. Now here’s the other side of George, Sam Beam and company’s cover of Little Feat’s “Trouble” (confused as to the singles titling? Little Feat’s frontman was named Lowell George). We’re loving how the band do justice to these ‘80s pop classics using, um, non-traditional pop instrumentation – plenty of horns, strings, pianos, you know the deal – all the while keeping the catchy fun of the originals intact.
