Spanish DJ/producer John Talabot is more well known for his remixes than his original music, save for 2009’s “Sunshine” which got absolutely rave reviews, but it seems he’s keen on changing that. The electronica/house aficionado has instilled the vocal stylings of Glasser’s Cameron Mesirow on his latest number, “Families,” the title track from his upcoming EP.

As Pitchfork points out, the track’s got a very Delorean feel to it, a dreamy pop dance cut backed with sunny synths and retro samples that help accentuate Mesirow’s icy vocals. Stream the song below; Families EP drops May 9th via Young Turks.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
