Here is a never before heard video game inspired Kid Cudi track, “Capcom”. Contrary to reports of the track belonging to Kid Cudi’s forthcoming A Man Named Scott mixtape (out this summer), it seems that the track is just an old demo that never had the chance to reach its full potential. The Kid took to Tumblr and explained that “Capcom” was “done early last year for a project Chad Hugo [of N.E.R.D] and Kenna were working on for a Street Fighter game.”

Upon first listen, “Capcom,” pales in comparison to Kid Cudi’s brief, but revered oeuvre. Fortunately, Hugo’s lazy beat and Cudders’ lackluster, phoned-in performance are not signs that a sober Cudi is a boring Cudi. (Don’t tell me we aren’t all thinking about the possibility of this.)

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
