We’ve always had this idea that Lana Del Rey songs were really hip hop hooks dressed as pop songs. We couldn’t ever really picture it until now though. Back in 2010, Lana Del Rey recorded a track with UK rapper Smiler called “Big Spender,” in which she covered Shirely Bassey’s 1967 classic of the same name. The track didn’t hit online until last weekend; it is set to appear on Smiler’s new mixtape, All I Know, which is due out 2/27.
