Lana Del Rey is May Jailer. Allegedly. Jarri sleuthed out these “lost” Lana Del Rey tracks recorded as May Jailer, which would mean that these new songs (a whole album called Siren has found its way onto YouTube) actually pre-date Del Rey’s Lizzy Grant days. It’s interesting that these would pop up a few weeks or months before Lana is set to reissue her Lizzy Grant album.
While it’s entirely possible that these could be fake, these sound just like Del Rey and her knack for reinventing herself has been well-documented, so we’re giving these recordings the benefit of the doubt.
