New: Little Boots – “Superstitious Heart”

“Superstitious Heart” comes to us as a part of a four song 12″ that Little Boots released anonymously as “LB” on January 14 to a confused Piccadilly Records (“Not sure who LB is, but they dropped…”). We’re glad she claimed the songs as her own and called everyone’s attention to them on Facebook though, because she kills it over a bouncy, driving house beat from Maya Jane Coles.

Her new album is rumored to be out in March, and we’re looking forward to it.

Rebel Heart pounds out the case for her legacy. But too many tracks obscure what could have been a solid comeback attempt.

The Oasis co-frontman’s new album too often regresses from being self-referential to the crime of self-plagiarism.
