Lupe Fiasco shared another new track that won’t end up on his upcoming album Tetsuo & Youth with the Twitterverse late last night. “Jonylah Forever,” with a solemn Lupe at the mic, is a requiem of sorts for the tragically slain six month old baby, Jonylah Watkins, who died of gun shot wounds earlier this week. Lupe, who made headlines this year for his somewhat tactless political discourse, exercises restraint here and instead of politicizing the death of baby Jonylah, he makes clear what was lost this week.
New: Lupe Fiasco – “Jonylah Forever”
Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
From his still-unannounced new album, featuring Thundercat, Bilal and production from Astronote.
With help from Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and an amazing piano.
These guys would probably get along if they ever met.
Another track from Future Brown’s upcoming self-titled record.
