Surprise, surprise; England’s refined singer and lyricist, Morrissey premiered 3 news songs on BBC radio yesterday. “Action Is My Middle Name”, “The Kid’s a Looker” and “People Are the Same Everywhere” are all presumably off of his forthcoming tenth studio album, and were all recorded live at BBC’s Maida Vale.

The rocking former Smiths frontman, who is considered both a legend and a veteran in the industry, admitted that his finished album doesn’t yet have a release date or a label home for that matter. In a statement released last month Morrissey said, ““The follow-up to Years of Refusal is ready and fluttering wildly against the bars. There is still no record label and the years shuffle like cards. My talents do not lie in DIY.”

Hopefully this will all change soon but nonetheless Morrissey’s European Summer tour kicked off today, and those lucky enough to see him may even be lucky enough to hear more new songs off of his pending label-less album. Stream “Action Is My Middle Name”, “The Kid’s a Looker” and “People Are the Same Everywhere” below.
