Over a week ago, we posted a new track from London dubstep visionaries Mount Kimbie, who have been riding the coattails of their delightful Crooks And Lovers LP, which came out in 2010. The duo of Kai Campos and Dom Maker are releasing an EP which will include two new songs (the already mentioned “Baves Chords” and now “Flux”), the title track “Carbonated,” which was the stand out on Crooks And Lovers, and a few remixes by Peter Van Hoesen and Airhead.
“Flux,” which was just premiered on Gilles Peterson’s show on BBC Radio 1, is profusely more dance friendly than its successor, loaded with that wonderfully orgasmic trend known as post-dubstep. Listen to the rip below; get Carbonated EP when it drops on June 27th via Hotflush.
