Yes, the stupid in the Katy Perry-inspired songtitle may hurt your head, but this new N.E.R.D. jawn means serious business. Like Pharrell says in the song, the bass line is hypnotic. It’s alluring and repetitive qualities make “Hot N Fun” ideal for any dance floor. This song is indeed made for people who “don’t want to think no more… just want to feel”.

At the end of the track’s short three minutes, Pharrell announces that a new N.E.R.D. album, called Nothing will be released on June 15th. “It’s a whole new experience,” he teases as the beat trails off. Listen to “Hot N Fun” below:

i quite like it, N.E.R.D songs tend to grow on people, so far this song isn’t very special… but if they make a good video i can see it doing well. think it just needs a bit of remixing tbh
