Two of our favorite things in the world, The National and Game of Thrones, have officially hooked up and their baby is quite gorgeous. In just two days, the band went from soundtracking and narrating a children’s book to writing a song for one of the most adult programs in television. The song, “The Rains of Castamere,” is about “the violent dynastic struggles among the kingdom’s noble families for control of the Iron Throne.” Swooon! Be still, our nerdy hearts.
