Nothing’s better than a good indie cover of a top 40 rap song, and no one knows that better than British electropop singer and songwriter Neon Hitch, who’s dropped personal renditions of songs by everyone from Mac Miller to Kreayshawn lately.
Her latest take is on Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands,” and it rivals the original – Hitch’s singing is a step up on Waka’s for sure (it’s laudable that she can show off her pipes so well in such a ridiculous cover), and her beat is a lot more fun. Her subtle changes of the lyrics are the icing on the cake. Enjoy.
