NEW: Adele Rolling In The Deep

Adele is a prime example of a British treasure who has made it big internationally. At only 19, her 2008 debut was certified platinum in the U.K., she was the first recipient of the Critics Choice Award at the BRITs, she won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2009, and was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Adele claims that her forthcoming sophomore album, 21, is more influenced by country musicians like Wanda Jackson and Alison Krauss; her first single, “Rolling In The Deep,” is representative of this. Elements of gospel and country are present in “Rolling In The Deep,” providing a hint of Southern charm to accompany Adele’s luxuriously robust vocal abilities. 21 will come out early 2011, “Rolling In The Deep” is out officially on Dec. 3, listen below:

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
