While you were stuffing your face with turkey, Chromatics continued to kill 2012 with new track “Cherry,” taken from their label Italians Do It Better’s compilation After Dark 2. If you were into the after-dark, film-noir vibe of Kill for Love, you’ll love this song too – Ruth Radelet sings, in that singular, unaffected voice, about the end of a relationship with a girl named Cherry, over her band’s customarily glimmering, moonlit soundscape. The end product is cinematic and sweepingly gorgeous. The band’s frequent video collaborator Alberto Rossini is on hand too, with visuals that recall his teaser previews for Kill for Love. Download it here.
