This is now the fourth song we’ve heard from Devendra Banhart’s upcoming album, but the only one so far to be delivered in the Spanish language. “Mi Negrita,” which is a spanish term of endearment for girls with dark skin or hair, is a warm and laid back love song. It, like the other three we’ve heard so far, makes us very excited for Mala, which is due out March 12 on WMG.
