This is now the fourth song we’ve heard from Devendra Banhart’s upcoming album, but the only one so far to be delivered in the Spanish language. “Mi Negrita,” which is a spanish term of endearment for girls with dark skin or hair, is a warm and laid back love song. It, like the other three we’ve heard so far, makes us very excited for Mala, which is due out March 12 on WMG.

Previously:
“Für Hildegard von Bingen”
“Never Seen Such Good Things”
“Cristobal Riquez”

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
