New: Dirty Projectors – “There’s A Fire”

Couldn’t make it to Dirty Projectors’ January concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall to pick up the special “Offspring Are Blank” 7″ they pressed specially for the show? Never you fear – you can now stream the once vinyl-exclusive new track that serves as the single’s b-side. “There’s A Fire” is just the kind of Dirty Projectors we like – a sexy, wandering bassline grounding strange but irresistible guitar riffs, Dave Longstreth’s singular belting, and sweet group vocals, somehow singlehandedly summoning memories of summer. At the end, Longstreth’s guitar mirrors some distorted and reversed vocals – maybe they’re literally working magic? Check it out.
