If your reaction to the “feat. Danny Brown” part of this post’s title was to yell “BRUISER,” then you might come away from the track a bit disappointed not to hear a verse from Brown on the track. (A more accurate title would be “DJ Muggs briefly sampling Danny Brown“).
“Headfirst” is still wild time though, in the spirit of the Adderall Admiral, and goes completely nuts the entirety of its four minutes and forty-five seconds. Muggs has a very interesting carreer, starting out with Cypress Hill, working with artists as big as U2, leading Soul Assasins, and now sounding perfectly at home on the same label as Deadmau5, David Guetta and Benny Benassi — UltraMusic. “Headfirst” is off Bass For Your Face, which is out January 15.
