New: Four Tet – “The Track I’ve Been Playing”

It’s not everyday that you encounter a song tagged as “electronica” that feels like it would make a great campfire song, but the obnoxiously titled new Four Tet number “The Track I’ve Been Playing That People Keep Asking About and That Joy Used in His RA Mix and Daphni Played on Boiler Room,” fits that bill even if it is untweetable, as Dots & Dashes point out. The tossed off title is unfortunate though, as the song feels anything but. An awesome drum sample and some chanting/wailing drive the song to a place not many others will take you.

This is available via Four Tet’s Text label as TEXT022, on a limited release, white 12″.
