We caught one of Free Energy’s high-energy, packed sets at CMJ, and “Hangin'” was one of our favorite new songs they performed, so we’re psyched it’s the third track to be released from their upcoming LP Love Sign. It’s a bubbly, guitar-heavy jam in the vein of all our favorites from the band, nostalgic for youthful, late-’90s memories, tailor-made for making out with your crush in the backseat of your dad’s car during a drive-in movie. Crank it up! Love Sign is out January 15.
