This is now the third track we’ve heard from Iron and Wine’s forthcoming Ghost on Ghost, and it’s as much of a party as anything Sam Beam has ever played. “Grace for Saints and Ramblers” exudes happiness as it describes a grace filled world in which everyone dances together and generally has an excellent time. “They were rubbing on each other / rubbing ghost on ghost / there were jumped up punks / and the jesus freaks.” Just the right amount of strings and “woo”s from the backup singers ensure that everyone ends up dancing like a hippie. Stream it below and grow a beard.
Ghost on Ghost is out April 16 on 4AD and Nonesuch Records.
