UK pop machine Little Boots has been quiet for a while, but her comeback is self-assured enough for you to fairly instantly forgive her.

“Shake” is everything you probably love about Little Boots in a six-and-a-half-minute (yes!) package: her bright, sweet chanting presides over an endlessly catchy beat that builds from clattering percussion into heavy, dubby synths that will have you dancing even if you don’t mean to. Put this one at your next get-together and the room will likely instantly turn into a packed nightclub – that’s the magic of Little Boots for you. Her sophomore LP is still unannounced – keep an eye out.
