After the tragic news of Amy Winehouse’s death early Saturday, M.I.A. released an unreleased recording of a song called “27,” a cut for last year’s MAYA or Vicki Leekx mixtape.

M.I.A. stated that she dedicates the song to Winehouse and all of her other “friends that died at 27″, and though it was written last year, the lyrics are certainly appropriate: “You said you’ll be dead at 27
/when we drunk in a English tavern/The owner poured you the Bourbon
and you drunk yourself so rotten.”

Winehouse joins a lengthy list of legendary musicians who have died at the young are and are in the “27 Club,” including Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, and Jimi Hendrix. Listen to the tribute below; R.I.P. Amy Winehouse.
