Miike Snow’s prepping for a banner 2012: confirming a Coachella appearance, announcing a new record, dropping catchy singles: now they’re countering the alpine imagery in their name with a new warmup track from their upcoming Happy to You called “Paddling Out.”

It’s exactly what you expect from the band – dancy and fun, with in-your-face synth bubbles that sound like Washed Out minus six or seven layers of reverb. We’re particularly attached to that syncopated, brutally cut-up organ riff. Happy to You is out March 27 – throw this one on your party playlist in the meantime.
