We can’t say No Doubt’s new single, “Settle Down” has us excited for their long-in-the-works comeback album Push and Shove, but Major Lazer’s involvement in the second single and title cut is certainly enough to have us reevaluate.
“Push and Shove,” for better or worse, uses one of Gwen Stefani’s unhinged wails for a brostep dropped hook — it basically sounds like a maximalist Major Lazer track, only with less twerkable fire. Listen to the track below; Push and Shove is out September 25.
