In case you missed it, here’s a recap of current events: Snoop Dogg’s resurrected himself as his reggae alter ego Snoop Lion and is releasing a new record called Reincarnated. His new single is the Major Lazer-produced, Angela Hunte-featuring single “Here Comes the King.” Hunte has a great, catchy hook, Diplo and company (including Ariel Rechtshaid and 6Blocc) drop a bubbly, shimmying beat, and Snoop himself unwinds his chill stoner rap persona out into some utopian blunt-passing verses. Check it out.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
