I always notice that my guard goes up a little bit when a giant company like Mountain Dew, Converse or now Phillips hops into the indie music world to sponsor music, but oftentimes we get some pretty good songs out of the deal. Such is the case with Washed Out’s participation in Philips’s “Sound of Creation” advertising campaign, which has yielded this gorgeous three minute instrumental track of the same name as the campaign.
