Late last month of Montreal graced us with news of a new album, False Priest, and let us download the first single, “Coquet Coquette”. Now, you can listen to the 6th track on the new album, “Hydra Fancies”. The new song isn’t guitar driven like “Coquet Coquette”, but instead relies on light, synthetic beats and caricatured harmonizing to move the song forward. In other words, it’s the standard Kevin Barnes lunacy we’ve all come to appreciate. False Priest is out September 14. Listen to the song below.
