Panda Bear – “Tomboy” by Some Kind of Awesome

Panda Bear – “Slow Motion” by Some Kind of Awesome

I’ve only listened to this a few times, but neither of these tracks strike me as instantly gratifying as “I’m Not”/”Comfy In Nautica” was back in 2005 when Panda Bear released it as the first single for Person Pitch. Which could mean two things; one, the tracks will slowly open up with each listen, allowing me in (like most of Panda Bear’s work), or two, these songs simply just aren’t as good. It’s also interesting to note that Panda Bear released “I’m Not”/”Comfy In Nautica” nearly two years before Person Pitch was released.

Props to Some Kind of Awesome for the upload.
