As Passion Pit’s July 24th release date for new album Gossamer inches closer, we’re getting a better idea of what the album will sound like. “Constant Conversations” comes in as promotional single number 3, after lead single “Take A Walk” and its maximalist follow-up “I’ll Be Alright,” and it’s a smoldering slow-burner (in the only way Passion Pit can smolder and slow-burn) compared to the summer playfulness of the first two tracks. The song’s worth a listen, if only to hear frontman Michael Angelakos go full soul man toward the end.
