Putting it simply, London producer Airhead’s unique sound evokes some sort of astral mash-up of R&S labelmate James Blake and fiery Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O. The final product, embodied on recently released single “Wait,” sounds like an abstract xx song––all shoegaze guitar strumming, indecipherable, angelic vocals and a truly glorious and cathartic breakdown at the close. We recommend you give this track several listens below:
