You read that right – here’s a new song by the Postal Service, who are reissuing their 2003 debut / only record Give Up April 9 with two new tracks included, this one and another called “Turn Around” that we’ve yet to hear. “A Tattered Line of String” is a fantastic song, in part thanks to the traded-off vocals of Ben Gibbard and Jenny Lewis – but it’s also cool to hear the band update their incorporated electronic influences; this track, with its percolating synth effects and shimmery sounds, would be at home amidst any of the indie electro-pop of today. We’re psyched to hear “Turn Around,” and we’ll keep you updated. The Give Up reissue is out April 9.
