Almost six months ago we introduced you to Louisville, KY’s the Pass and their brand of indie pop hat marries Manner‘s synthesized fervor and Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix‘s endearing warmth. Over the last six months, The Pass has released an EP and worked on their full-length debut Burst with mixing engineer Alex Aldi, whose latest works include Suckers’ Wild Smile, Passion Pit’s Manners, Harlem Shakes’ Technicolor Health, and The Walkmen’s You & Me. Well, Burst is all wrapped up and almost ready for you to devour. You’ll see evidence of that in the album’s instantly infectious opener, “Treatment of the Sun”. You can listen to the track in the video above.
Burst is due out this Fall on sonaBLAST! Records, but you can purchase “Treatment of the Sun” now.
