Death To The Throne’s remix of Science of Fear was pretty much the best remix of Temper Trap. Bummer it didn’t make the cut.

How come the dynamics look so squished? Fight AGAINST the loudness wars please. So tired of all the dynamic range compression ruining today’s music. The second half is just a giant blob, if this is the waveform then it should look much more ALIVE and spiky accurately reflecting the original source material. Not sure if this is from the mastering or the production, but it sure could use a lot less limiting/brickwalling/drc – the remix itself is pretty decent, but the original kicks ass.
