Seminal shoegazers My Bloody Valentine (or at least the band’s frontman Kevin Shields) have been dropping hints of new music this year, but this previously unheard MBV track isn’t brand new. You can check out “Good For You” now, courtesy the band’s CD re-releases of their two records, Isn’t Anything and Loveless, and a collection of EPs. It’s a driving, awesomely catchy post-punk jam, with a weird and deconstructed guitar riff we can’t get enough of – typically MBV massive, but somehow way catchier than their usual fare. The reissues come out physically May 7th.
