Lil B pulled a bit of a Radiohead last week when he unexpectedly released his latest, controversially titled Im Gay, available now on Amazon. One of the easy standouts on the record is “I Seen That Light,” a lyrically powerful piece over a light-hearted, soul sample that’s not too far off from old school Kanye.

The Based God contemplates life, religion and then some: “Bitch I love this life, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, I guess I’m selfish, right?” Listen to “I Seen That Light” below and cop Im Gay if you haven’t heard it yet.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
