With Rick Ross’s new album God Forgives, I Don’t unofficially out in the wild, his label has decided to officially stream two tracks, “911” and the awesomely titled “Diced Pineapples,” featuring Drake and Wale. The latter is one of the album’s most anticipated track, probably only surpassed by “3 Kings” with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre. But unlike that song, “Diced Pineapples” more or less meets your expectations with a luxurious, classic beat from Cardiak and deft verses from Ross and Wale. Drake and his buttery falsetto do all they can with the hook “Then we fuck all night/’til things get right,” but we can’t shake off the feeling he’s only there to bump iTunes and Mediabase numbers. In any case, God Forgives is out July 31st.
