Rye Rye is seriously channelling M.I.A.’s “Bird Flu” on new track “Shake Twist Drop” (it doesn’t quite sound like a sample to us). But once you, uh, shake off the initial quirk of déjà vu, it isn’t difficult to succumb to Rye Rye’s dancefloor provocations. Rack City Bitch Tyga makes a brief appearance, shining some of his spotlight on the track. Listen to the track below:

It looks like Rye’s loooong delayed debut album Go! Bang! Pop! (it was supposed to come out 2009) is actually coming out this month. May 15 to be exact –– but don’t hold your breath now.
