Surfer Blood are back with their first single since frontman John Paul Pitts was arrested for domestic battery last spring. While that knowledge puts a weird tint on lines like “Squeamish voyeur, sick destroyer / shaking down, hit the ground,” it’s still an enjoyable listen. This is off their upcoming album, Pythons.
