The Australian band best known for the epic earworm “Sweet Disposition” (popularized by the prototypical indie romcom 500 Days of Summer) is back with a new album and new single. Following up 2009’s generally well received Conditions, Temper Trap will release a self-titled sophomore album on June 5th through indie hitmakers Glassnote Records. “Need Your Love” is the album’s first single and it deploys the grandiose indie rock tropes the band works best with.

Fans of the band will be pleased with Temper Trap’s latest interpretation of the indie rock anthem, but we doubt “Need Your Love” will dethrone “Sweet Disposition” as the cornerstone of the band’s output.
