Q Magazine’s tribute to U2’s 20-year-old Achtung Baby has borne great fruit so far – the magazine’s recruited alternative rock artists from Jack White to the Killers to deliver their interpretations of their favorite tracks from the record.
The Killers’ take on “Ultraviolet (Light My Way)” is particularly well done, as Brandon Flowers delivers a more than passable Bono impression (those trademark wails are surprisingly spectacular) as the rest of the Killers do justice to classically-U2 shimmering guitar and big drums. Check it out.
